Allurion is a medtech startup based in Boston (R&D), with its commercial headquarters in Paris. We developed the Elipse Balloon, a breakthrough weight-loss device to treat obesity (fifth leading cause of death in the world). Did you know that in France every 1 in 6 people are overweight? We successfully raised a Series C funding of ~$30M and are growing rapidly. We launched commercial operations in 2016 and are now present in 14 countries in Europe and in the Middle East; and are continuously expanding.

We are looking for an analytical, entrepreneurial and enthusiastic intern to join our team in Paris, starting ASAP or in January 2019, reporting directly to our VP of Sales and Marketing (ex Allergan, Coolsculpting / Zeltiq, acquired $2.4Bn by Allergan). Working closely with him, your mission will be to analyze our global sales performance, work on developing and implementing our sales growth strategy in existing markets, as well as help defining our entry strategy to new markets.


  • Develop our in-house strategic analytics on sales performances, building models to:
    • Optimize sales forecast
    • Analyze country performances / Support business reviews
    • Monitor accounts growth
  • Strategic analysis to support decision on geographical expansion
  • Help develop and execute our professional training program, targeted on improving patient conversion rates in the clinics, by working closely with the sales teams and distributors in Europe and the Middle East. Plan and co-ordinate international education events and ATI conferences
  • Prepare board meeting presentations


  • Top-line business school student with previous experience in strategy or management consulting
  • A creative and analytical mind, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills (both in English and French, ideally native speaker)
  • Self-motivated and well-organized, able to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
  • Health innovation & industry enthusiast
  • Great team player and a good sense of humor
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Powerpoint
