Allurion is a medtech startup based in Boston (R&D), with its commercial headquarters in Paris. We developed the Elipse Balloon, a breakthrough weight-loss device to treat obesity (fifth leading cause of death in the world). Did you know that in France every 1 in 2 people are overweight? We just successfully raised a Series C funding of ~$30M and are growing rapidly.We launched commercial operations in 2016 and are now present in 14 countries in Europe and in the Middle East; and are continuously expanding.

We are looking for a creative, organized and enthusiastic intern, to help us accelerate our growth, thanks to the exciting digital transformation in the healthcare industry. Working closely with our Head of Growth and Marketing in Paris, your mission will be to support the generation of patient demand at scale in 14 geographies, fulling our +100 growth yoy.


  • Strategic due diligence and market analysis
    • Develop metrics and drive market research to analyze countries’ attractiveness (in Europe, Middle East, Asia, LATAM, North America)
    • Help kickstart the preparation for our US and Chinese launch
    • Develop our “strategic marketing due diligence” practice: identify, analyze and recommend growth and marketing tactics from health/tech industry players (expert calls, etc.)
  • Boost clinic productivityby establishing incentive mechanism
    • Support our key accounts and distributor marketing reward program
    • Calculate quarterly marketing rewards based on account performance
    • Develop and improve efficient patient testimonial collection methods
  • Generate patient demand at scale
    • Help update and execute digital content strategy (for SEO, blogging, newsletter, etc.) and improve social media presence
    • Work with agencies to create, develop and manage the deployment of new marketing materials (from printed materials like brochures and flyers to videos)
    • Manage the implementation of Allurion branded products


  • Great creative and analytical mind, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills (both in English and French, ideally native speaker)
  • Self-motivated, able to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
  • Health innovation & industry enthusiast
  • Very detail-oriented, efficient at multi-tasking, and strong organizational skills with superb execution
  • Great team player and a good sense of humor
  • Proficient in MS Office, knowledge of Adobe Pack would be a plus
  • +++ if you speak Spanish or Arabic
